Philip Seeger
President and Chief Executive Officer

Philip Seeger has led Medcor since its founding. He pioneered the development of clinical interventions, including on-site occupational health clinics and telephone triage for workplace injuries. Under his direction, Medcor has grown from a start-up company to a national corporation, employing more than 700 people and servicing thousands of businesses. Philip keeps the Medcor team focused on its values of honesty, excellence, adaptability, results, and teamwork.

Philip has held certifications as a nationally registered paramedic and an underwater rescue and recovery diver. In addition to Medcor, Philip has helped start five successful businesses; two have been sold to Fortune 500 companies, and he continues as a director of the other three. Philip is a partner of CroBern, a health-care management and investment firm. He is also a director of NRI, Inc., American Escrow & Closing Company, and Pharmacy OneSource.

Bennet Petersen
Chief Operating Officer

Ben Petersen is responsible for Medcor’s overall operations, including staff, systems, logistics, and infrastructure to provide service in all 50 states. Ben developed operating methods for multiple service lines; he has been instrumental in supporting Medcor’s growth by mentoring and developing a talented team of operations and clinical managers.

Ben is a certified paramedic and actively serves as a volunteer paramedic and district fire chief in his hometown. Prior to joining Medcor, Ben was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of TEK, Inc., where he helped grow the company from $200,000 in sales in 1977 to more than $10 million in sales in 1995. Ben has worked with state legislatures and private industry to help establish new career paths for EMS personnel, nurses, and mid-level providers.
