How We Are Different
Medcor has been operating worksite clinics since 1984, serving clients across a broad spectrum of industries. Our customers include leaders in manufacturing, distribution, retail, grocery, restaurants, entertainment, construction and other fields. We work successfully in urban, suburban and rural locations. We are equally comfortable in union and non-union environments. We serve large and small companies – 11 of the Fortune 100 use our services, and as do individual restaurant franchises. We have cared for more than three million people in our worksites clinics and handled nearly a million injury triage calls.
We have grown by meeting customer expectations rather than through acquisitions and mergers. We have seasoned staff in place who are building their careers here. We have developed training systems to transfer the knowledge between our staff and clinics so all our clients benefit from our aggregate experience. New clients get the benefit of our experience, while established customers benefit from our new service innovations.
Positive & Sustained Results
In 2010, Medcor helped our clients and patients clients avoid 185,000 workers’ compensation and general health claims, saving several hundred million dollars in the process, and keeping thousands of people productive and healthy on the job and at home. These results are not unusual – they are in line with our sustained performance for over 25 years.
In addition, Medcor’s patients benefited from improved Health outcomes. Client renewal rates and patient satisfaction are both over 98%.
Innovation
Medcor has developed many of the systems and procedures now widely adopted throughout the on-site clinic industry. For example, while other providers are adapting electronic medical records for use in work site clinics, our Medfiles® system is in its sixth generation after being designed specifically for worksite health over 20 years ago. We hold US and foreign patents on our processes, with more pending.
Focus This is our core business, not a side line or a referral base for a parent company.
