On-Site Drug Tests
On-Site Drug Testing
Employees can be tested on-site by trained individuals using rapid test technology. Negative results are available within minutes. Non-negative screens are confirmed at a SAMHSA certified laboratory. All positive results reported by the lab are sent to Medcor’s physician Medical Review Officer (MRO) to examine each case, including contacting the employee to determine if there are mitigating reasons for the results.
Laboratory Testing
Employers can easily locate and arrange specimen collection sites with Medcor. Medcor works with SAMHSA certified laboratories to perform DOT and NDOT laboratory drug-test analysis and specimen confirmation testing services. Oral fluids, urine, or hair testing services are also available. Confirmations of positive screens are performed using the sensitive technology of Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS). Results are electronically communicated to Medcor’s physician MRO within minutes of testing completion. All positive results reported by the lab are sent to an MRO to examine each case.
