On-Site Health Services for Employees, Retirees, and Dependents
With a broadened scope of service, Medcor On-Site can provide for many general health needs
of employees, retirees, and dependants. Properly supervised by a doctor and supported with Medcor’s guidelines, mid-level providers (nurse practitioners and physician assistants) provide
a convenient and cost-effective service as a complement to primary care physician services.
Employees and their dependents can receive care for acute illnesses, including strep throat, ear infections, colds, minor orthopedic injuries, and minor infections. In addition, Medcor will perform minor diagnostic and treatment procedures, including suturing, abscess drainage, and minor skin lesion removal.
Medcor helps employers and patients make good use of physicians and other health-care resources that are already available rather than trying to duplicate expensive infrastructure.
