Review Process

We are committed to finding top talent for our organization. Our Human Resources Recruiters thoroughly review applicants for posted positions. Selected candidates are contacted for phone screening and a possible interview. We communicate with all applicants via email and/or phone.

Interview Process

When interviewing for Medcor, we embrace a collaborative decision-making process. We conduct a series of interviews that include Human Resources Recruiters, hiring managers, and our Medical Administrators (for clinical positions). Candidates should be prepared to provide examples from their experience to highlight their knowledge, skills, abilities and work ethic.

Hiring and Offer Process

Once a hiring decision has been made, a Medcor Recruiter will contact the chosen candidate and extend an offer of employment. Once a verbal acceptance has been made, the offer letter and new hire paperwork will be emailed to the candidate. All offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a drug screen and background check. More details on these processes are included in the offer email. Total process time can take between 2 – 3 weeks, depending on the candidate’s response time.

Orientation, Training and On-boarding Process

Your manager will contact you regarding orientation and training. Training schedule and format will vary depending on the position you are hired for.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is the best way to apply for a position with Medcor?

You can apply directly to a position on the Medcor Careers page.

How often are job postings updated?

Medcor Recruiters update job postings daily as necessary. You can sign up for Medcor’s Talent Network to be notified of new positions matching your job criteria as they are posted.

Can I still apply for a position if I don’t have a resume?

Yes. You can complete an online application listing your skills and experience. Be sure to include as much information as possible because our recruiters use the application to identify whether your skills, abilities and knowledge are a fit for our job openings.

I don’t see any opportunities matching my skills or interests. Can I still submit an application?

Yes. You can submit a general application through the Careers page under the Keep Your Application on File header. Your information will be stored in our database and you will be contacted if your skills are a match for an opening in your geographical area. You may also join Medcor’s Talent Network. You will be notified of new postings based on the information you provide. You may also visit the Medcor Careers page to check back for new opportunities.

I forgot my username and / or password. What do I do?

On the Medcor Careers page, select Returning Applicants and then click the link at the bottom for forgotten login information. You will receive an email with instructions on resetting your login information. Or you can contact a member of HR Here to obtain your login and password information.

I am getting an error when I try to submit my application. What should I do?

Exiting the application and starting a new session will typically resolve the issue. Also, make sure you are using the most updated version of Internet Explorer.

I received an error while attaching my resume. What do I do?

Review the size and type of the document you are trying to attach. The Medcor application states the acceptable formats and size limitations. You may also copy/paste the resume text into the text field box.

When will I hear from someone now that I have applied?

Once you submit your application, you will receive an immediate application acknowledgment email. Our recruiters take time to review all submitted applications and will typically reach out to candidates within one to three weeks.

What if I don’t receive an email acknowledging my application?

All email correspondence will be sent to the email address you included in your application. Please make sure to double check your application before submitting to ensure there are no typos and the email address is valid. The acknowledgment email is generated through our recruiting software and is sometimes labeled as “junk” mail. Be sure to check your junk or spam folder if you have not received an email in your inbox.

How can I check on the status of my application?

Email a member of the Talent Acquisition Team to follow up on your application. Make sure to include your full name and the title and location of the position you are applying for. You can reach our recruiters at: David Good – For Advanced Practice Clinics, Kyle Hassen – For Occupational Health Clinics, Jason Stoxen – For Construction Health & Safety Clinics or Corey Heiser – For Triage & Corporate Positions.

Can I delete my application or withdraw from a position?

Online applications are considered legal documents and may not be deleted. You may, however, withdraw from a position should you choose. Please contact us via phone or email to withdraw your application.
